Currently, CharacterizeImageTask defaults to psfIterations=2, which may not be necessary. Making the change is trivial, but we need to do some large data runs to see if it causes any new failures or significant changes in the measured PSFs. We should do those runs on different instruments, including both dense and sparse fields.
