The plots need to either display useful information about the provenance of the data as well as summarising the relevant statistics across the tract/visit or do something sensible when this information is not available. The only place to access some of the information needed is in the runQuantum so find a way to get this info and pass it along to the relevant parts of the plotting code. When this can't be done make a way for it to either fail gracefully without affecting the rest of the plot or let the user specify this info themselves.
