      Description

This is a gen2-specific function. Gen3 has its own code for retrieving an amplifier from a butler.

Just removal of code. Nobody can possibly be using this code since it won't work with gen3 butler.

Can you please mark this reviewed? I don't think there is any reason to keep the function around with a deprecation message because there is no way a gen2 user could get to this function to see the message. It has not worked since DM-34919 (3 months ago) and we have been warning people it would not work since last year.

Sorry; fine. I checked with the camera team (Jim Chiang) and they think that there's no camera-side legacy code that uses it. If there is, we'll have to help them update the code.
