      Description

Prepare for and attend the OCS-DAQ-CCS-DM workshop in November 2014. This is primarily intended to review the status of LSE-70 (the definition of the OCS interface to the subsystems) and therefore prepare for updates to LSE-72 in time.

The workshop covered the state machine model for subsystems controlled by the OCS, with a focus on the needs of DM and Camera. It also covered the integration timeline during construction for the OCS and subsystems, starting with simulators and progressing to more serious multi-system tests.

See the linked web page for details.

It was not felt that LSE-70 was yet ripe for a formal update. A second workshop was scheduled, for February 2015.

There was extensive discussion of the expected configuration mechanism. This will also go in to LSE-70 and related documents.

The configuration mechanism will be used to determine, for example, what processing the Processing Cluster device in DM will apply to newly acquired data.
