In the ObsTAP context, using the data-product viewer, turning on mask-plane display for all available masks for an LSST calexp (from DP0.2) is quite slow - O(20s) - and suffers from the lack of a clear progress indicator, as well, which can lead a user to think that it has failed. Once the display is constructed, performance is fast and smooth for panning and zooming.
