Description
"Pan by table row" has a very surprising effect in the data-product viewer when applied to a session with highly-zoomed-in images. When changing which image is highlighted, either by clicking on the image or its table row, the display jumps to showing the center of the newly highlighted image.
This is almost never what is wanted and, at a high zoom level, can be very confusing behavior, and merits describing this as a "bug".
Ideally in the data-product viewer, the meaning of "pan by table row" should be changed from "make sure the central point (s_ra,s_dec) is visible" to "make sure some part of the image is visible" (either based on s_region, if available, or on s_fov as a fallback).
If that is difficult to achieve in the near term, then "pan by table row" should be off by default in the data product viewer.
