When running unit tests in the `ts_config_X` repos the tests correctly go through all possible combinations of files. However, when an error is encountered, it would be much easier to troubleshoot if the files being interrogated are reported as part of the error message.
This appears pretty straightforward to implement at first glance, but if it is challenging then another solution may be more appropriate.
