Clean up workarounds in the HVAC CSC code

      Description

      In the past some workarounds have been  implemented in the HVAC CSC code to avoid errors parsing the MQTT messages due to inconsistencies between the actual MQTT message content and the CSV file describing the messages. Some of these workarounds no longer are necessary. This ticket is for removing those.
