This ticket covers work done to attempt to install two NI RT OS VMs on esxi hypervisor. Essentially I helped Heinrich then Heinrich was stuck on an issue where the the keyboard is not emulated properly on the installer. I spent much time attempting various solutions, passing a keyboard(not possible on a remote client), exporting a virtual box VM (Does not appear to work), exporting a KVM (Also does not appear to work). The solution is either to plug a keyboard into the host server and pass it through there( requires coordination with IT) or to use a different VM provider that works with the proven workaround of passing through a second keyboard.
