      Description

This ticket is to capture preliminary design work we are doing for storage of QA system information, which we are working with the Database team on.

As well as prior experience, Jacek has made us aware of the sdqa tables in the schema:

      https://lsst-web.ncsa.illinois.edu/schema/index.php?sVer=baseline

and also plan on mining pipeQA for quantities of interest.

Once we have a draft, there will be an RFD for soliciting further input.

Read LPM-17. I have summarized the single image requirements from LPM-17, this exercise resulted in some changes in the QA database schema. LPM-17 specifies QA samples used for Image Depth, Image Quality, Photometric Quality and Astrometric Quality. We probably will have to label the sources used for each requirement, not sure what is the most efficient way to implement that.

At this point I think it is also important to "write the queries" to see if we can select those samples from the outputs specified in the LSE-163. I probably should open a new ticket for that.

I should mention that my intention is try to justify each parameter in the QA database based on LPM-17 and that will result in more changes before putting this ticket to review.

Added Image Depth section summarizing the requirements in LPM-17.
Added a query to select the sample to compute the Image Depth requirements.
Added notes about inconsistencies found in LPM-17 and in the current baseline database schema.

The samples specified in LPM-17 should be create as views in the production database for convenience.
