          An alternative is to split out the PFS code and depend on obs_subaru. This is probably a better course (and Paul Price will know how practical it is)

          It would seem that this work was done already as https://github.com/Subaru-PFS/obs_pfs exists.

          Do we close this as Done or Invalid? Should the team be changed to External?

          Let's just “won't fix” it, since I think there is no plan to add PFS to obs_subaru.
