XYPlot density plot with log scale - bin size is not reflected correctly

      Description

XYPlot with the large number of points does not display correctly when log scale is selected. When log scale is selected, binning on the server should be using the logs, so that the bins are the same size on the log scale.

This ticket is about a valid topic but should be rephrased as a request to more clearly distinguish between logarithmic binning and logarithmic display of binned data.

The current version of Plotly appears to display linearly-binned data correctly when displayed on a log scale - that is, the bin sizes in the display vary appropriately.

Nonlinear/nonuniform binning introduces questions of whether the bin values should still be shown as counts or restated as densities (respecting the Jacobian).

Closing as "Won't Fix" and opening a new ticket that clarifies the issue.
