      Description

      In early September, we should present to the project — by means of an RFC, RFD, clo posting, or some similar medium — the results of the attempt to port afw to pybind11, along with some commentary and recommendations as to where we should go from here. Prepare the materials needed to make such a presentation. This may include focusing on small pieces of the codebase rather than trying to complete the whole of afw.

          Most of this work has been done in branches for DM-6296 and DM-6168 which was more practical due to the intertwined nature of the work. The results were presented on community and RFC-216 was written to start the formal discussion.
