Description
See the related issue DM-7221.
The QA system should include tests that validate that outputs of the science pipelines code to file artifacts (e.g., the output of afw.table as FITS binary tables) have acceptable structure, e.g., the table column header metadata reported as missing in DM-7221.
If there is leniency in what structure in output artifacts is acceptable, the test system should still flag the situation in which there are unexpected changes in that structure from build to build.
I believe that this is superseded by the Science Data Model standardization effort. And it's clearly not a SQuaRE responsibility.
Closing as Won't Fix, with a nod to Yusra AlSayyad and Colin Slater so they are aware.
