to

That is news to John Swinbank – he thought he was just maintaining a shared stack, not providing other tools or documentation.

Ha I didn't realize the distinction. In that case I'll take it back. I don't use lsst-dev nor ds9 on lsst-dev so my doc will be mostly a shot-in-the-dark.
