#### Description

I am unable to complete copying the doxygen builds from the old NFS home dirs or make new builds as it looks like we've hit a filesystem quota:

-bash-4.2\$ git clone https://github.com/lsst/lsstsw.git Cloning into 'lsstsw'... error: copy-fd: write returned Disk quota exceeded fatal: cannot copy '/usr/share/git-core/templates/hooks/pre-rebase.sample' to '/home/lsstsw/lsstsw/.git/hooks/pre-rebase.sample': Disk quota exceeded

How does this differ from /software/lsstsw? Why aren't these two things not integrated and making use of /software space (which is why it was provided)?

The provided directory for publishing documentation is (and was) ~/public_html.

Ah. So it is not the build in the location that is the issue, it is the sharing service that requires more space?

I believe it is only the html docs, at least at this point, that are the major driver for space. We can write them to any path that is convenient.

This would seem to be similar in nature to what Paul Price and I discussed in the last few days, namely a location to share data externally from the project level. Not ad hoc ephemeral user data but data that is well organized, persistent / consistent, and serves a project need. Perhaps /datasets could be extended for this use. And your automated software builds could make use of /software.

I migrated jenkins completely off of lsst-dev01 due to this ticket, so it is not longer a relevant issue.
