Description

This epic is being created as a general placeholder to contain issues identified in the current implementations of ZOGY and of A&L decorrelation in ~~DM-8796~~ using simulated images (see comment-64610 for details). This epic will thus contain four tickets as spelled out in that comment.

There are a number of issues also identified in ~~DM-9989~~ that are not yet tickets that need to be addressed in this epic or another one.
