      Description

      Augustin Guyonnet [X] has written a prototype data reduction pipeline for the Auxiliary Telescope. Merlin Fisher-Levine should become familiar with how it works, on both a practical ("press button X, Y happens") and theoretical level ("why is Y useful?") level.

      This work is likely a close collaboration between Merlin & Augustin. We can most conveniently account for that by double-loading it with SPs (ie, when the two are collaborating, they burn 2 SPs every four hours of work).

            I imagine a good way to start this ticket would be for Augustin Guyonnet [X] to upload the document he wrote about this stuff here, and for me to read it.

            This should help address both the practical and theoretical aspects, and provide a good way to start the conversation.

            Hi Merlin,
            I have attached the report on the ongoing analysis.
            This has also been uploaded with the images at NERSC.

            Regarding the Stack :
            The first task I would like to discuss/implement would be to find the star from its astrometric coordinates.

            Regarding the ongoing analysis :
            there is evidence that the dispersing direction drifts from one image to the next (about .1 deg ).
            This may potentially be a significant systematic : I shall look into that in more detail.

            Merlin has read Augustin's report, in detail, twice. He has made notes on it, he has updated LDM-151 based on it. He says he is now familiar with it.
