      Description

LDM-639 is the LSST Data Management Science Acceptance Test Specification. This new document covers the testing of the requirements in LSE-61.

      Docushare:
      https://docushare.lsst.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Version-52093/LDM-639.pdf

      Developed on Github:
      https://github.com/lsst/LDM-639

      Notes:

      • It is largely automatically derived from the Test Cases under the Jira Project "LSST Verification and Validation".
      • This version is based on a version of LSE-61 that doesn't require quantitative scientific performance assessment. LCR-1344 would add requirements to compute such metrics, and it would be appropriate to update this document once LSE-61 is updated in response to LCR-1344.

It's not clear to me who is doing the work to baseline this document. There is no ticket triggered by this RFC.

            Thanks for the push, Tim.

(Removed my previous commentary; I didn't understand the workflow. This should be in the “board recommends” state, and now it is.)

In this particular case, though, perhaps Michael Wood-Vasey or Leanne Guy can fill us in on their plans for getting this work done?

Michael Wood-Vasey, Wil O'Mullanealready adopted this RFC. The question is who is generating the document and uploading the released version to docushare.

This got paused for a bit at the last DMLT F2F as we discussed getting more updates into this version between posting.

On Feb 6, Leanne Guy and Michael Wood-Vasey met and agreed to upload the current version (2018-10-16). Gabriele Comoretto [X] will prepare the final version (i.e., removing "Draft" marks), dating it as today, and upload to Docushare.
